The 2025 Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Champion will be the driver who displays the best mental resilience in this weekend’s title decider at the BP Adelaide Grand Final, according to points leader Dylan O’Keeffe.
The Dexion Porsche racer comes into the weekend with a slender 24-point advantage over Harri Jones, with a total of 181 points on offer across the weekend. Nevertheless, if Jones was to win every race this weekend, a trio of second-place finishes would be enough for O’Keeffe to clinch the title.
The points lead has see-sawed between the two drivers throughout the season, with neither driver able to gain a decisive advantage.

“We’ve both had some really good rounds, but we’ve both left points on the table with poor results at various stages of the season,” O’Keeffe said.
“For me, the highlight of the year was the win in Darwin, but Bathurst was also an excellent weekend where we recovered for second place overall after qualifying down the order.
“The last round at the Gold Coast was my worst of the season, but I still managed to salvage enough points to retain the championship lead, which is crucial heading to Adelaide.”
Last year, O’Keeffe snatched a top-three result in the championship with a passing move in the season’s very last race, and could see a similarly climactic finish to this year’s contest.
“Obviously, I’d like to be qualifying on pole position, driving away from the pack and sealing the title with a race to go, but with the such a competitive field, I think it’s going to go right down to the wire,” he said.
“It’s my best chance of winning a national title, and I’ve psyched myself up for it; the fans can expect to be treated to some nail-biting racing,” O’Keeffe concluded.
