Dylan O’Keeffe and the Ashley Seward Motorsport team have unveiled an eye-catching new livery for the Autoglym Lynk & Co ahead of the third Supercheap Auto TCR Australia round at Phillip Island this weekend.
The car’s base colour has changed to predominantly black, with Autoglym retaining its place as the major sponsor and Accident Car Hire also coming on board.
O’Keeffe has a strong record in TCR at Phillip Island, including a pair of race wins last time he raced with the ASM squad at the venue in 2019. After his podium result in the previous round at Symmons Plains, the Lynk & Co will be weighted down with some success ballast, but O’Keeffe is not overly concerned.
“To be honest, if you had to choose a track to carry some extra ballast, Phillip Island would be one of your first options because it’s such as fast track – the extra weight is more of a handicap at a circuit with slow corners leading onto long straights, like Sandown or Symmons Plains,” O’Keeffe said.
“I’m keen to build upon the knowledge we gained at Symmons Plains, where we started the weekend slowly but finished it as one of the fastest cars; using everything we learned in Tassie should enable us to roll out of the truck with a car that’s much closer to the setup window from the outset.”
This weekend’s race format consists of three races (all live on 7PLUS), with Race 2 featuring the typical top-10 reverse-grid format.
