Dylan O’Keeffe’s October racing bonanza continues this weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park, when he returns to the Autoglym-backed Ashley Seward Motorsport Lynk & Co for the sixth and penultimate round of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series.
Coming off the back of last weekend’s Bathurst 1000 and with a trip to the Gold Coast still to come, it will be the second of three consecutive weekends of racing for O’Keeffe.
“The Bathurst weekend didn’t go to plan, so the best thing for me to do is get straight back in a race car and bounce back from it, which I get to do this weekend,” O’Keeffe said.
“It’s been a couple of months since I last raced the TCR car, but I’m looking forward to being back behind the wheel.”
Sydney Motorsport Park has traditionally been a happy hunting ground for O’Keeffe, who has achieved race victories in Carrera Cup and scored a TCR pole position at the venue in 2021.
“I’ve always enjoyed Sydney Motorsport Park and the characteristics of the Lynk & Co are well-suited to the track, so the goal this weekend will definitely be to fight for race victories,” he said.
This weekend’s three TCR races will be shown live on 7PLUS.
